ux-3 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) The Problem: When choosing the layer break for a Video DVD, the preview window flashes a single picture for a splitsecond, then does one of the following: shows a still picture, shows darkness (discernable from letterbox frame), shows light gray. The video doesn't play on, sound does. The window buttons still work, but the displayed picture remains unaffected, sound changes fine. The DVD comes out fine in the end. This is WinXP SP3, Nvidia GF9800, Imageburn 2.5.1.0 I have searced the web and found http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6264 which is somewhat similar. Are there other users, who experience this? Is there a solution? Any clue what is causing this? Thank you for help. I 11:26:44 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 disable directdraw overlays via the option in the settings (Tools -> Settings -> General -> Page 2 -> ImgBurnPreview Option)
ux-3 Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 disable directdraw overlays via the option in the settings (Tools -> Settings -> General -> Page 2 -> ImgBurnPreview Option) Many thanks. Solution works. Any clue as to why the default may have failed? From my search here and in the FAQ, this should not normally happen. Thanks for all the work you have invested in this!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Graphics driver related maybe... who knows!
