stealth50k Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I get problems when trying to burn 3 different dvds at the same time. I have 8 hard drives installed and am trying to burn 3 different iso files at the same time. Each file is from a different hard drive. Heres my specs Phenom 2 945@3.7ghz || DFI LP DK 790FXB-M2RSH || MSI&XFX 4890s Crossfired || Auzentech X-Fi Forte || 8GB DDR2 || 700GB,1.5TB,1.5TB 2TB, 2TB,120GB, 250GB, and 400GB 7200rpm hard drives || 2 Asus 24x dvd burners and Liteon 20x dvd burner Tuniq Ripper PSU-RIP 1000W || I don't know whats going on. Already had a few discs go bad because of this at first. Now i test it by using simulation but its still not budging like halfway in or maybe even if the 3rd burner starts to burn it causes the other ones to lose buffer and then all them would crash. All them would lose the buffer and give a i/o error saying a write error on some sector. I can burn 2 dvds at the same time but not 3 for some reason. No problems at all with 2 burning at once. The cpu usage is almost 0. Barely any usage. I have dma enabled. I could save a lot of time burning 3 at once but its just not doing it. Is the system running out of bandwidth or something. Not sure where the limitation is at.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Are all the drives/burners on SATA? It would help if you provided logs.
