I have tried this at least 7 different times now.Image Burn keeps giving me trouble;

While verifying the sectors,this comes up

I/O Error!

ScsiStatus: 0x02

Interpretation: Check Condition

CDB:28 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 01 00

Interpretation: Read(10) -Sector:2

Sense Area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 21 00 00 00 00 00

Interpretation:Logical Block Address Out Of Range

It than gives me the option to cancel,retry or continue.

Clicking on retry or continue does no good.

But the thing is,the discs will play on my stand alone player connected to the TV,but when I try to watch them on my laptop..nothing,they just show up as blank.

Post the log from that operation (look in ImgBurn's Help menu for the previous logs if you closed it).

Here it is;

Update ImgBurn, we don't support old versions - especially not THAT old!

Update the firmware on your drive.

http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/DVR-113NP/files.html

Don't burn at MAX speed, use 8x or something.

Buy better discs next time - Verbatim (not the 'value' range) or Taiyo Yuden.

I downloaded that Pioneer file,but where do I extract it to?

I updated the firmware.Now when I try playing a DVD-R,my laptop won't recognize it(other than a couple that I burned several days a go).It says that they are blank,even though these are discs that I have watched on my PC before in the past,with no problem at all.

Commercial DVDs play just fine and are always recognized.

So,I can only conclude that something is wrong with my external drive,even though I did the upgrade.Don't know what the hell is wrong,but I guess it explains why I have had so much trouble with burning lately.
