Hi!

I can't burn dvds using ImgBurn,I was trying to save a ISO from HDD, and when I pressed "WRITE", the computer froze....no task manager help, just reset button.

I don't have a log.

I've made a new windows7 fresh install, reinstalled Imgburn, updated the firmware, tried a different dvd burner, the result was the same...

I tried to burn some files onto a dvd using windows 7 built in burning feature, and I could....

Any solution? Please....

Thanks!

When it gets stuck, what does it say in the status bar?

Status bar?

It freezes the next second after pressing "WRITE" button.

Yes, the status bar.

It's the bar at the bottom of the main window.

It should tell you what the program is doing (or trying to do).

Status bar: writing leadin

It's ATA burner, able to create ISO to HDD using Imgburn.

Imgburn is at default settings.

Able to burns the same ISO using Windows Disc Image Burner.

Copy + paste the disc info from the panel on the right please.

For you, maybe the 'Incremental' write type would work (where DAO/SAO is currently failing). You can change that on the 'Write' tab in the settings.

With a decent drive/firmware/media combo, there should be no reason to change anything. It's your drive that's messing up here and the above is just a possible workaround.
