Select speed 1x or 2x but wirting at 4X !!

Hi, i use win 7 32bit and i try to burn iso file (xbox) at 1x or 2x , but the device still burn at 4X.

I use Samsung SH-S223B and dvd+r dl.

Please help !!!

That's probably the lowest speed your drive supports.

 

Look at the disc info text in the box on the right when you're in Write mode with one of those discs in the drive.

 

You don't need to burn at 1x or 2x (both of which are impossible anyway on DVD+R media, 2.4x is the slowest the format uses), you need to burn at the speed your drive produces the best quality burns at - and that could be any of the supported speeds, it doesn't have to be the slowest one.

I believe that the problem is my samsung dvd burner , because i try to use an external usb Sony and can burn at 2.4X perfectly with the same dvd+r dl , but when i verify it there is some error . I try in my xbox360 and the disk work perfectly .

I still wondering if the lowest speed my drive support is 4X how can i burn xbox360 copy ?

I already try with a few iso game but even if the result of the burnig its good ( all the times ), when i play it on my xbox i have trouble to see the movie part and cannot play some part of the game ( i solve this problem by installing the game on the hard disk of my xbox).

The first logs issue is that the burn was so bad that the burner can't read the disc and second logs issue is that the burner lost connection with your computer.

 

Your other burner also fails to burn those discs?
