Hi all,

Hope you can help, im getting some problems when burning, dvd's and also xbox 360 games. On the DVD's the film will usually start skipping between 9-12 mins, and on some xbox titles I get, either disc dirty or it just stalls when trying to load the title screen.

Im using Verbatim discs, and do get a lot of successful writes, but I am recently starting to get a few games and films with problems.

Heres my last log below, its of a xbox360 game that stops in the same place every time, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Mark

What brand PC do you have? There's probably a firmware update available for the drive.

Try cleaning it with a cleaning disc and using all of the 'supported' write speeds (note that your drive/firmware don't support MKM-003-00 at 2.4x)

Update ImgBurn and put XP SP3 on unless there's an actual reason for you not doing it (and not just hearsay).
