boristhemoggy
I've read the guide on making audio disks, and after toasting my first CD, I am now using a CD-RW and have made 6 disks now none of which will display CD Text. I'm using 2.5.1 If I view the image info after I've made the cue file, it says under the type column, CD text twice, and n the next column lists performer and title, and in the next it gives the artists name and the track title. So, the info is there in the cue file, but it won't write to a normal or a cd-rw disk. Also, sort by tag track number doesn't appear to work. Am I missing something basic? LIGHTNING UK!
Where are you hoping to see this info exactly? The player has to support it in the first place. The track number sort works ok for me. It does of course rely on the track number in the tags being correct!

Retail disks show in there locations so I'd hoped my written ones would too. The tags are correct, I use media monkey for some tag operations and musicbee for others. I'd quite pedantic about getting them right. It must be something else I'm doing wrong but I'm not sure what?
LIGHTNING UK!
Media player only shows cdtext if you install the plugin. http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=56780 When you burn the disc, if it mentions cdtext as it writes the leadin in the log window, it's burning it ok.
