Beef Wellington Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Following the guide here I've tried to slipsteam and create a bootable disc multiple times. However, when I try to boot from said disc I get error "CDBOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR" every single time. I've gone trough the whole guide and followed everything to the letter. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Do you actually have an i386 folder on that discs with ntldr in it? Does ImgBurn prompt you to correct any settings? I can't comment on 'Bart' stuff but the guide works fine with a real XP file set from a real XP install disc.
ianymaty Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 You did not verify the burn, in conequence there are no guarantee it is 100% accurate. W 11:42:59 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 176 KB/s (1x), Got: 706 KB/s (4x) I 11:42:59 Destination Media Type: CD-RW (Disc ID: 97m34s23f, Mitsubishi Chemical Corp.) (Speeds: 10x) You wanted 1x ? Why? You got 4x, don't know how, since only available speed is 10x I don't know, but you not should get an already Bootable ISO out of PE Builder and than burn it with ImgBurn in Write mode?
