I've got the

Problem:

The program gets stuck on 'Searching for SCSI/ATAPI Devices'

Ok well there are a few things you can try here...

 

1. Update XP, you're still on SP2.

2. Uninstall your IDE/ATA/ATAPI controllers within Device Manager and reboot (a.k.a. the DMA fix from the FAQ)

3. Update ImgBurn.

4. Install the latest chipset/controller drivers for your motherboard

5. Install the latest PX Engine update - http://kb.roxio.com/search.aspx?URL=/content/kb/General%20Information/000070GN&PARAMS=
