skyburner
I recently got a HP DV8T 1100CTO laptop with an "hp bd mlt uj240" optical drive. I've searched the web and it seems to be a Matsushita/Panasonic. I'd like to change the booktype to dvd-rom when I burn but there is no choice for Panasonic in the change booktype dialog box. Does someone else make this drive or is it just one that Imgburn doesn't cover? TIA
LIGHTNING UK!
If it's a matshita, give up. They don't offer any way of changing the booktype within software. Either the drive is pre-programmed to do it on certain media (i.e. DVD+R DL) or it doesn't do it at all (and cannot be told to).

I've discovered this drive does automatically change +R DL to dvd-rom but DVD-R stays what it is. Thanks again, Skyburner
