i'm using verbatim 16x medium and unable to verify this wii game. what could be the problem?

Seems like your system is having memory problems, so test it with memtest86+. Also, since it looks like it's a laptop, make sure all ventilation holes aren't blocked.

i have checked my system with program you suggested and there were no errors.

You left Memtest86+ running for a few passes yeah? (takes a couple of hours probably)

 

How many times have you tried to burn that image?

 

Have you tried at 8x too?

 

Do you have any other discs you could try using - just for testing purposes so it doesn't matter if they're rewritables etc.

 

Have you tried cleaning your drive with a cleaning disc?

i only left memtest running for a one pass and tried to burn this image few times with different speeds. at home i only have verbatim medium which was always working flawlessly until now. i even tried cleaning a drive like you said but nothing, always the same error. i'll try again with the memtest.
