How to avoid "ignore layer break" prompt

I'm using ImgBurn 2.5.1 to write DVDFab-ripped DVDs to ISO images and one thing is really, really bothering me: that I have to manually select "Ignore Layer Break Option" every single time in the middle of processing each DVD.

By now I think I've tried everything to avoid this prompt: disabled any conceivable prompt remotely related to this, tried to increase the media size in various ways (build for HD-DVD, no file splitting etc etc) but I just can't avoid the prompt. I've also seached this forum but with no luck. An old posting said "you can change the media size so it just thinks it's building a single layer image", but where exactly do I do that? Of all the hundreds of options I can find none marked "media size".

thanks,

Richard

You can't disabled it. Instead you should actually pick a location there the layer break is noticed less.

You might try the Clone mode in DVDFab and create the ISO within that program. It should preserve the layer break.

Thanks for your reply.

Howewer, I can disable layer breaks - but only manually, not automatically. I can disable it using the fine button called "Ignore Layer Break Options", which is what I press every time. So what I'm after is some way, any way, to free me from having to do this manually. Since ImgBurn allows me to ignore the layer break option it would be especially nice if it could do so automatically. I'll never write these images to a DVD, so the layer break stuff is only a nuisance.

Thanks for the suggestion about using the Clone mode. I'll try that - maybe it'll work better.

cheers,

Richard

Change to a custom size of a single layer disc on the 'Media' tab so the program always thinks you're building for something with no layer break.

Thanks - but where exactly is this "Media" tab? In ImgBurn 2.5.1 menu Tools > Settings there is no tab called Media, and I also can't find any other groupbox og headline or something named Media anywhere else. Please enlighten me.

thanks,

Richard

In the build mode in the right window.

Excellent - thanks!

Since I mostly use ImgBurn as a ISO-writer I had in fact never opened any of the Modes. I didn't know that there were even more build-options there, in addition to those in the Tools > Settings dialog. Thanks a lot, Cynthia.
