iMutant Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 Hi, I'm new to burning iso's to discs and I've been reading and figured that i need to change the booktype of my dvd +rw's to dvd-rom to play on my wii but im having trouble figuring what driver is in my Hp Pavilion dv6. "HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50L SC04 (SATA)" is the name that imgburn is giving me. Can someone please tell me which tab in the booktype menu to choose or any other way i can change the booktype of this drive. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 It's an LG and ImgBurn will manipulate the booktype automatically on those drives (where possible), you don't need to do anything. Sometimes the booktype can only be changed on DVD+RW discs by doing a full erase/format (i.e. writing to them won't do it). The problem for you is that LG drives can't change the booktype on DVD+RW discs so you're stuck anyway. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
