rew Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Hi I was wondering if it would be possible to add the ability to auto booktype in the next release as my LG is unable to booktype via a firmware patch I think this would be an excellent addition to an already supurb program
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 As LG are the only ones (and possibly samsung, but they're pretty awful all round) that don't implement a nice version (where the drive remembers what it's told!) bitsetting, this is unlikely to happen. Take a look here, it might do the trick. http://www.alexander-noe.com/cdvd/bitsetting/index.eng.php
rew Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Thanks LUK tried alex noes patch but it wants me to install aspi so I guess I will just keep bittsetting manually thanks for the quick reply
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Just copy nero's wnaspi32.dll file to the same folder as his tool.
blutach Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 (edited) It definintely works - I can tell you that. After you install the first time, make sure you make this a startup option. It runs a little command batch file and your LG drive(s) are bitset on startup. Regards Edited June 25, 2006 by blutach
