Burning process stretches movie out.

Hi,

 

I'm new to this forum but i searched to find any similar tread about my problem but i didn't find any.

 

I'm a beginner when it comes to burning Blu-ray movies but i followed a simple guide on Youtube.com on called "Blu ray burning process" and I did it flawless step by step.

 

 

 

Anyhow, here is what I did.

 

I used this movie "Appaloosa.1080p.Bluray.x264-1920" with "tsMuxeR_1.10.6" and muxed it to create a "BDMV" and a "CERTIFICATE" folder. Everything looks good so far and when i try the movie from the "STREAM" folder in the "BDMV" folder the picture is not stretched out to 1920x1080. It is as it should be 1920x800.

 

Then I use ImgBurn.exe to burn these two folders (BDMV and CERTIFICATE) to a blank 25GB Blu-ray disc as the guy does in the guide on Youtube. And when the burning process is complete, I play the movie on my computers Blu-ray burner. But now the picture is stretched out to 1920x1080! It should be 1920x800! There should be black spaces over and under the movie like it is when a 1920x800 movie is played, but there is none! The movie covers the entire screen!

 

I have also tried to play the burned Blu-ray movie on my normal Blu-ray player that is connected to the TV, but the same thing happens. Picture is stretched out. I have tried different TV aspects 16:9 ... 4:3 .. and so on. But the problem seems to be during the Burning process with ImgBurn. Does anyone know what i might be doing wrong? Why does the picture get stretched out when it's not supposed to be?

This isn't related to burning.

 

If you compare the files on your hdd and the ones on the disc you'll see that they're identical.

 

If the disc isn't playing correctly then either your source files are to blame or the playback device is.

Thanks for your reply! I saw a similar post yesterday when someone ripped a blu-ray using RipBot264 and encountered a similar problem like me, that the aspect ratio changed when he burned his movie to a blu-ray disc. Do you think I can do something similar to fix my problem like he did?

 

I will show you my entire process when I created my blu-ray that gets the wrong aspect ratio:

Do you see something that could have gone wrong in these steps?

 

I can't really figure this out myself, since I'm really new to this.
