Kurt_Aust Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 As a new version is likely to be released once the bug reports are in (at least to fix the menu shortcuts) could SPTI be enabled for all users by default? It just seems a bit strange to me to install the program for all users but not allow all users to use the program.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 As it's group policy setting (and nothing to do with ImgBurn), I'd rather not mess with it by default to be honest. It's also only an issue for XP (and older) OS's. SPTI seems to work just fine as a standard user in Vista and 7.
Kurt_Aust Posted September 11, 2010 Author Posted September 11, 2010 Fair enough, mind you I've always thought it was a rather silly instance of group policy - you are allowed to copy all that sensitive data to an easily concealed flash drive or SD card but not to a more obvious CD-ROM - yeah that makes sense.
