matt-pick Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 im new to this whole dvd burning thing so i was wondering if i could get some generl direction. I tried burning one of my movies using imgburn but once i tried viewing it on a different computer there was no visual to the movie, just the audio. when i tried viewing it on my computer it would work so obviously i didnt add the right file along with the movie. i was just curious as to where i went wrong and how i can do this properly. thanks
ianymaty Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 If the disc plays in your computer than the burn was good and you did what was necesary. You don't have to add anything with the movie except the subtitle file if it exist any. The fact that it not play on other computer seems that the other computer did not have the necesary codec instaled to play that file right. Now if you want to play that movie on a regular DVD Player instead of computer, probably you have to convert it to a regular DVD Video structure. Anyway, post a Log as the pink box above says and more info for further assistance.
matt-pick Posted September 16, 2010 Author Posted September 16, 2010 yeah i want to make it a dvd that i can play on dvd players. how would i convert it to a regular DVD Video structure?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 That depends on what you have to start with. If you have an AVI file or something, use DVD Flick to make a proper DVD Video structure.
