HELP!!! Posted September 25, 2010 Share Posted September 25, 2010 ok first off when i opened imgburn an error in the log was saying something about it couldnt burn cause of some sptd file and it was stopping at 69% everytime. so i deleted the sptd and the error was gone and it still stopped at 69%. a friend of mine told me to take off verify so i did and it compeleted burning but NOW it wont read. there is nothing wrong with the console because it played disks before. and as i write this a disk is being played. what am i doing wrong? this was when i found out about that sptd file I 21:01:58 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! ianymaty Posted September 26, 2010 Share Posted September 26, 2010 Put a blank disc in the drive and switch to Device tab on the right and look for Supported Write Speeds: The program will show at what speeds can the drive burn that disc. If you select a speed that is not supported it will be burned at closest speed available, I thought that you learned it by now from post #2... Don't try anymore with that (RITEK-S04-66), it's obvious that your drive don't like them. Try some Verbatim (MKM-001-00) 2.4x or even (MKM-003-00) 8x or buy a drive that can burn those discs.
