Device not ready (medium not present)

My disk drive is Memorex DVD16+/-DL4RWlD2 JWS5 (F:) (USB)

I have Memorex DVD+R DL 8x 8.5 GB disk

when i try to write a .iso to it i look on the bottom left and i see device not ready (medium not present)

The .iso is 7 gb (it is an xbox 360 game)

Does anyone know how to fix the "device not ready (medium not present)" error?

Switch to read mode and post the disc information you see in the right window panel.

There won't be any info Cynthia, the drive can't initialise the disc.

 

Buy a new drive or get some different discs that your drive supports.
