Walker1080 Posted September 28, 2010 Share Posted September 28, 2010 I have been a long time user of image burn, however i recently purchased a new laptop and when image burn finishes windows 7 ultimate crashes. I think it is an error with the audio driver interacting with the finish tone of image burn. However after looking at different burned dvd dl some of my disk do not work. My computer is a asus g73j. LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 28, 2010 Share Posted September 28, 2010 If you know it's not my problem, why have you put this thread in the 'Bugs' forum? Do you get a BSOD when it crashes? If so, you should have a (mini)dump file. You can examine (mini)dump files with WinDbg (free from Microsoft) and it should be able to tell you which driver crashed. I assume you've tried ensuring you have the latest Bios and Audio driver from the Asus support pages? You can get the latest Realtek audio driver from here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false R2.52 = driver v6.0.1.6194 and v6.0.1.6194 is obviously newer than the v6.0.1.5978 one that's posted on the Asus support site.
