segaklon Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Hello, first to congratulate you for your great work I hope you get very far with this. I use your program to record only HD DVD-R discs and I've noticed that all recording programs only support a maximum of 14376 MB record, the case is that I rushed the building and I noticed that the disk supports as minimum but at least 200mb capacity, you could change this option and add extra 200 mb with a new option when you pass the original capacity open a window and tell you that you are making overburn at your own risk because estoi quite sure that it is over that size. I recorded as about 300 HD DVD-R and I in it and therefore appreciate a solution. Greetings
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 ImgBurn already does that. If the source is larger than the destination, it prompts the user to confirm they want to overburn.

Thanks for answering, I need is you remove the limitation of the HD DVD-R and add 200MB and I completed the album hundreds of times and always room to spare. LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 It's not my limitation, it's the drives. Nothing in ImgBurn prevents you from writing as much as you want to any media you want. It's down to the drive as to whether it can actually do it or not.

Thanks, LIGHTNING UK Space is correct and that for every giga 0.068 Gigabit lost, so the most you can put in an HD DVD-R 15GB is 14.04 GB. I take the thread that goes on HD DVD for you to add the file separation program the following values, 14.04 and 27.96 gb gb that would be HD DVD-R and HD DVD-R DL some people still recorded in these formats. greetings
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Nothing gets 'lost', the disc manufacturers just display the size using a different calculation. There are 7,361,600 sectors on a HD DVD-R disc. 7,361,600 * 2048 (sector size in bytes) = 15,076,556,800 bytes... and that's where the 15GB on the disc case/box comes from. But in real terms where we divide by 1024 to calculate the size in KB, MB, GB etc we get... 15,076,556,800 bytes / 1024 = 14,723,200 KB 14,723,200 KB / 1024 = 14,378.125 MB 14,378.125 MB / 1024 = 14.0411376953125 GB I will add those two sizes you mentioned (or close to them anyway) to the file splitting options.
segaklon Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the explanation, I'll be open on the next version. I've been super clear P.D I forgot to tell you just recommend your excellent program in the best magazine in the sector in Spain. PC Actual Page 48 if you want to scan some let me know. greetings Edited October 3, 2010 by segaklon
