hey everyone,

I have been using ImgBurn for about a year now with no problems. I ran out my Verbatim DL DvDs today so I went to purchase a new pack. I just burned something this morning using the old dvd's which ran out. Now when I put the new DVD's in my computer the driver does not read the dvd's. I went to try the discs on another computer and it worked fine reading them. I tried updating/uninstalling the driver and no luck. Can you guys help please?

Thanks

Shant

Post the log - or just whatever you see in the log window when the program starts.

Once you've picked 'Write' mode or whatever and put the disc in the drive, what message do you end up seeing in the statusbar at the bottom of the main window?

The problem is my computer is not reading the disc when I insert it in. I have the latest firmware version of it and have done a full disc scan of my computer. Still no luck. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated!

If the drive can't initiliase/recognise blank media then there's nothing the software can do about it.

thanks for the help mmalves. I guess the burner will not recognize new blank media for dvds maybe? Kind of weird that it reads used dvds with media on it and it wont read blank media dvds. Is that possible?
