thesentinal Posted October 5, 2010 Share Posted October 5, 2010 Hi, I need some help. I'm trying to make a dvd-rom but I can't change the booktype. This is because my dvd drive isn't listed on the booktyping page. Is there any way to get around or fix this? My dvd drive does write dvd-dl's. I have a Toshiba Satellite, and my dvd drive is a PIONEER DVD-RW DVRKD08L ATA DEVICE. -Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 5, 2010 Share Posted October 5, 2010 Do you verify your burns? The booktype is mentioned in the log when that starts. Failing that, put the disc back in the drive, switch to Read mode and look at 'Physical Format Information (Last Recorded)' in the disc info text on the right.
