bdeyes
Hi all, I have tried burning an iso image file with mixed results. I get a dvd that plays good on my pc but plays in black&white on my home theater. I have tried 3X with the same results- any suggestions?
cornholio7
what is the mid. of the discs you are using? is the film ntsc or pal ? which region are you situated in the world?
Grain
That sounds possibly like a setting or connection problem on your player. Do bot discs play w/ colour? If you have your component cables mixed up it will play in b/w, also a bad s-video will do the same. Also having your DVD player set to progressive scan on a non-progressive TV will give you that result with some DVD players, such as Harmon Kardon. *edit* missed your post Cornholio, bdeyes refer to his post first. lfcrule1972
Sounds most like a NTSC/PAL thing to me also - certain programs a bit like ImgBurn can tell you the format of the disc
blutach
Maybe flick was B&W to begin with. Regards
