jaredb Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 (edited) Right so i'm trying to burn some DVD folders i was given recently. The dvd folders require dual layer disks, one is 6.70 GB & the other is 7.14 GB. i originaly tried using to convertxtodvd to burn the folders and got a fail every time. So then i tried to use imagburn (which i normaly only ever use for xbox stuff) and got a fail again. I then made an ISO from the folder first which i did successfully & then tied to burn and failed again. After i stopped hitting my head against the wall i decided to seek help. this is a copy of the log, i can tell theres bad stuff happening but i might as well be written in martian for all i know about this stuff, any ideas goood peeps? P.S. i only ever use verbatism dual layer and have tried burning at 2.4 & 4 sppeds, always get a fail I 20:43:03 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Your drive can't be doing a very good job of burning those discs. Your discs seem to be using the 'RICOHJPN-D01-67' dye and that's not one of the normal Verbatim ones. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
