tblood Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 i am having problems with imgburn it says "device not ready medium not present tray closed". i am using an external dvd-rw it is an asus (sdrw-08d3s-u)w/ verbatim dl discs imgburn recognizes my dvd burner under destinations and will find my video game file but will not give me the icon to to start write due to the error message i stated previously any suggestions???? Thanx everybody
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Copy + paste everything from the log window please. It's not ImgBurn that's having problems here, it's your drive. If your drive says there's no media in it and there is, either it doesn't support the discs or your drive is dead.
tblood Posted October 13, 2010 Author Posted October 13, 2010 problem solved thanx for the imput i just went and exchanged my drive and got another one. i figured that the asus drive just didn't like the verbatim dl discs lol maybe if i showed it the reciept it would. but anyways picked up the toshiba and problem solved. thanx again
