You got some Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden discs?

Post the burn log from one of those then please.

What chipset does your motherboard use? Or what controller is the drive connected to?

I tried everything BUT the verbatim discs;), my motherboard is : P5KPL-C/1600 with a chipset intel G31 Express.

The HDD cable to the drive is actually a double cable with master and slave(?)

thanks a lot!

Ok well decent discs (Verbatim/Taiyo Yuden) are the next thing to try.

Your drive might just not like that cheapo dye (INFOME-R30-00).

Try installing the latest Intel INF Chipset drivers too.

I see what you mean, but i used these dvd's for years ;-) So thats not the problem. Now im trying the chipset update;)

Thanks again, i post a message if it doesnt work!
