LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Update ImgBurn. Update the firmware on your drive - QP5B http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/DH-20A4H/files.html Try with the write speed set to 8x / 12x. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. I see no issue with disc space in that log.
amylc1970 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 I tried all that and it still says....There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to burn this image. Image size: 1,805,326 Sectors (3,526 MB), Disc size: 359,847 Sectors (702 MB) It says this in a pop up message when I click to begin the burn process. Even if I reauthor it in dvd shrink and just do the main movie. Is there another ripping program you might be able to recommend? that would work with ImgBurn?
ianymaty Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Image size: 1,805,326 Sectors (3,526 MB), Disc size: 359,847 Sectors (702 MB) You used a CD but you need a DVD.
amylc1970 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 OMG!!.......... I'm such a retard!!!!!!!! Thanks for you observation!!
amylc1970 Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 New problem....... now that I downloaded dvdshrink again..... ImgBurn doesn't start up automatically when dvd shrink is done........ how do I fix that?
Cynthia Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 You downloaded this version? http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVD_Shrink http://download3.videohelp.com/DVDShrink32_w_ImgBurn.rar In the tab "Target Device" in DVD Shrink - did you select - "ISO Image File and burn with ImgBurn" ?
amylc1970 Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 I went to the link and downloaded but now can't find it. It's not on my desktop or anywhere!
amylc1970 Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 I went to after dawn and downloaded it. It doesnt have the option to choose burn with ImgBurn.......... what is going on?
amylc1970 Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 O.K. Got DvdShrink on my desktop now. It has the ImgBurn option. I use to have the dvd thats being ripped go to my desktop so I could easily delete it after I was done burning it but its not going there now and when I select the desktop it puts all the files there seperately instead on in its own file. How do I fix that?
Cynthia Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 AfterDawn removed download sources for DVD Shrink some years ago. Perhaps you got the "ordinary" version? Try the VideoHelp download link.
