Temp file????

I have searched and read on here that imgburn does not leave a temp file when burning a disc, however when i burn a movie i have noticed that about 300mb is used from my hard drive each time I burn one, my question is where is the folder at that holds this files?

I have made sure nothing else is running at all while the burning was being done

Any guidance on this would be appreciated.

From your post it isn't clear what OS you're running, how much RAM you have, where you're noticing the 300MB change, and whether it is a temporary 300MB "each time" you burn one, or a cumulative 300MB (i.e., 300MB + another 300MB + another 300MB, etc) each time you burn one. But I'm guessing you're using Windows and perhaps mean that you are noticing a 300MB change in the "Disk free space" displayed by Windows after a burn.

If so, I'm a noob myself (so I might be way off base), but I'm wondering if your system might be set up so your virtual memory (page file) can expand as needed, and is being enlarged by about 300MB during the burn process.

As a noob myself, I wanted to post my hunch here in hopes it might be helpful, but also to learn more myself about how IB works. Would anyone who actually knows better how IB uses memory please clarify whether my guess has any merit?

Thanks! :)
