Buffer bouncing

First I want to say many thanks to Lightning UK! ImgBurn is wonderful program.

It seems I have a problem similar to one described in already existing topic. Some time ago disk burning speed has been decreased dramatically and buffer is constantly bouncing during burning. Can this indicate the problem with hardware?

Here is BurnPlot graph on discovery mode.

Hope these are lines you are speaking about. I have removed lines related only to ISO-file creation.

Only one warning is shown here and as I remember it has been displaying all times before as I am using Daemon-Tools for a long time.

Is it possible that Daemon-Tools prevent drive from working in DMA mode?

Yup, that's the top part that was missing but there should have also been a bottom line.

Read the DMA post in the FAQ and do what it says under the 'Important' heading.

You could also try the DMA option on the Tools menu.

No, DAEMON Tools shouldn't cause any DMA issues. (it doesn't for me)
