I/O Error when trying to verify + Disc unreadable

Hi,

I've been trying to burn an image to a verbatim dvd+r DL , I cancelled verifying on both of them. When I try to play it on my Xbox 360 it comes out with unreadable error.

Tried two discs same problem.When I tried to read them on my PC, it didn't detect them at all and when I verify them I get the I/O error

I hope you have understood my terrible English

Disc name : Verbatim DVD+R DL MKM-003-00 " I tried one of them before and they worked well"

There drive would therefore being using 4x.

 

If that isn't working for you, try the remaining 'supported' write speeds.

I believe your drive supports 'Disc quality' scanning in Opti Drive Control.

 

Now you have a working 6x disc, try the next one at 8x and the one after that at 10x (and another at 4x again if you fancy it).

 

Scan all 3 (4) and see which speed produces the best scan.

 

Then stick with that speed for future DL burns.

 

You can program the AWS feature to always use that speed for that media (MKM-003-00).
