middie26
I remember posting about this message earlier, but the issue seems to have reappeared and I can't get it fixed.. I'm using the Verbatim 2.4x DL DVD's and ImgBurn keeps popping up with a "Device Not Ready (No Reference Position Found)" message. I've done pretty much everything I can think of: 1. Cleaned the lens 2. Bought new Verbatim DVD's 3. Updated firmware & drivers I've been able to burn DVD-R's as of last night and I've also put in a DVD DL that I burned the other evening. Img Burn "saw" both burned DL discs, but it's not seeing the blank media. The only log message I see is below: I 15:41:28 ImgBurn Version 2.5.2.0 started! I 15:41:28 Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (6.1, Build 7600) I 15:41:28 Total Physical Memory: 3,407,288 KB - Available: 2,171,480 KB W 15:41:28 Duplex Secure's SPTD driver can have a detrimental effect on drive performance. LIGHTNING UK!
If your drive can't initialise blanks discs, get a new drive.
