Frozen Drive after Burn to Verify

To start, I have already updated my Bios on my drive, I have the newest version of IMGBurn. I am using Verbatim Media.

 

Burn a DVD+R DL disc, and everytime after it finishes buring it freezes the drive when its cycling before verifying. When I say freeze i mean it won't open the disc tray and aborting doesn't work.

 

I have to restart the computer to fix the issue.

 

Any ideas?

 

PS. The Burned disc is good works perfectly.

What model of burner do you have?

You're going to have to repeat the burn and this time, before it attempts to cycle the tray, press the F8 key to enable I/O debug mode.

 

Then maybe you can copy + paste everything from the log window into a reply post.

 

(That's assuming it doesn't totally freeze your machine)

 

It might be an idea to have your web browser open at a page where you can just 'paste' the text and click reply - i.e. no loading up of anything.

L-UK the computer doesn't freeze just the program and the drive.

 

I don't have anything to burn atm but when I do I will make sure I do what ya said.
