Dly2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 OK, I have an Xbox 360 and I wanted to make a copy of it. I legally ripped it with DVD Decrypter, and then wanted to burn a copy with ImgBurn or DVD Decrypter, but when i try to do a Book Change, it says Unknown Failed! Im not sure of what drive im using too. As of now, i have been trying LG burner but it doesnt work. I have DVD +R DL DVDS so i know its not the DVDS. Can someone help me find out what the problem is? I have the log of events from Imgburn and DVD Decrypter. Please Help!!! Also if you need, i posted screenshots of the problem. Img Burn: I 10:39:51 ImgBurn Version 2.5.2.0 started! mmalves Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 We don't support DVD Decrypter. And your burner is a Lite-On, so try the aptly named tab. Hope you're copying a backup/burned disc, because an original disc copied like that won't work.

Dly2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Author Posted November 26, 2010 When i Choose book change, do i pick Current Media for DVD +RW because i tried Drive for DVD+R DL, and it doesnt work. But thats the disk im using. And for new setting what do i choose?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 No. ImgBurn automatically tells your drive to change the booktype to DVD-ROM. If it isn't working then your drive doesn't support it. Post a log of you burning and verifying a DVD+R DL so we can see what's what.

ianymaty Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I 17:12:43 Source Media Type: DVD+R DL (Book Type: DVD+R DL) (Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D01-67) (Speeds: 4x) Seems your drive hasn't changed the Book Type. Also that media is not well supported by your drive. See the only speed available. Read and follow this http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
Dly2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Author Posted November 27, 2010 So i should just get another brand of dvdr dl's or get a different drive?
ianymaty Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Try first with quality discs from Verbatim. If that dosen't make you happy, replace the drive with a new one avoiding slim type drives.
