error message when burning xbox back ups

hi i have been trying to burn a few of my xbox 360 back ups but i keep getting error messages when burning

i have tried a good few diffrent settings in

agbx

removing drivers from damien tools

trying better disks

the files are fine as it worked in a friends computer

but it wont work in mine

 

so i think its something on my laptop toshiba a500 1gl

 

please help please help

hi thanks for the quick reply this is the log using better disks

tdk double layer dvd +r

i have read what everone was saying about v but i didnt have the money with me in the shops they were 65 euro comparded to 30 euro for 25

do you thinks its the drive on the laptop ? or the disks ?

as the disks have made 2 working copies out of 10+ trys and they did work on a friends pc ?

It's not about one or the other, it's about a combination of the two.

 

You need a decent drive/firmware/media combo to get a decent burn.

 

Changing any one of those 3 could make it work, but it doesn't mean any one of them is ok in its own right.

 

You might be able to find a non verbatim dye (i.e. a cheap one) that your drive likes, it's just not going to be the 'CMC MAG-D03-64' one you've used there.
