Hello. Well, first of all I'd like to congratulate everyone on the staff or everyone that helps and makes this forums what it is. This software is great, I use it everytime, but I'm facing a small problem.

When i'm going to burn a DVD, I choose my speed, usually 2X, but apparently the ImgBurn doesnt't accept it and gives this error.

W 11:15:31 Write Speed Miscompare! - MODE SENSE: 5.540 KB/s (4x), GET PERFORMANCE: 11.079 KB/s (8x)

W 11:15:31 Write Speed Miscompare! - MODE SENSE: 5.540 KB/s (4x), GET PERFORMANCE: 11.079 KB/s (8x)

W 11:15:31 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 2.770 KB/s (2x), Got: 5.540 KB/s (4x) / 11.079 KB/s (8x)

I can still burn my DVD without a problem, but I'm afraid some time movie/software will be damaged by this speed. So, what can I do?

Thank you :)

Ok so 2x isn't a supported speed for your drive/firmware/media combo.

You're getting the 'MODE SENSE, GET PERFORMANCE' messages because the firmware on your drive isn't reporting the info it should do. (i.e. it's buggy)

The 'Wanted, Got' one is there to say you asked for a speed the drive doesn't appear to support and the other listed speed (or speeds in your case) look like they're going to be used instead.

All this info comes from the drive, ImgBurn just displays it for you so you're aware of it.

p.s. update the firmware on your drive to RL01
