coop365 Posted December 21, 2010 Author Posted December 21, 2010 So basically your saying its my media that's a problem or is there something in the log that suggests some thing else. I.m willing to learn. And your help is appreciated
Rincewind Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 You can try better media like Verbatim (MKM-xxx) discs, see if that helps as well as making sure your firmware is up to date. We can only make sure imgburn burns and verifies your disc successfully, after that you are on your own in figuring out how to get your game to work on your console if it doesn't work at all.
coop365 Posted December 21, 2010 Author Posted December 21, 2010 I have downloaded latest firmware for my drive from a site suggested in this forum. Just unsure what to do with the file that has been downloaded.
spinningwheel Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Make sure there is no disc in your drive and run the .exe
coop365 Posted December 22, 2010 Author Posted December 22, 2010 tried it with one of my other backups and success worked first time. The game was pes 2009. With game being older could there be something in the code that stops it burning. This is the log that was created. I 12:19:49 ImgBurn Version 2.5.4.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 No, the drive doesn't know or care about what you're burning. Data is data. You used a different write speed in your most recent log.
coop365 Posted December 23, 2010 Author Posted December 23, 2010 Thank for all your help. Greatly appreciated top fella
