Posted December 27, 2010 Share Posted December 27, 2010 Try this firmware update. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GCA-4164B/files.html Your drive should list more than just 4x as a supported write speed for those discs. As it's pretty ancient, it probably wouldn't hurt to give it a clean with a cleaning disc. Update ImgBurn too. Install SP3 for XP unless there something you know that I don't.
