jamie311
I'm kind of a noob with burning dvds. I've had a few successes, but lately most of my burnt dvds haven't been playing. A friend told me to try burning folders instead of just the files. The problem is, my dvd player recognizes the folders, but not the files. Most of them have been AVI files. Any suggestions? LIGHTNING UK!
Does your player support playing AVI files?
jamie311
I know that it plays DVD-R's and DVD-RW's, but i'm not sure specifically what file types it can play.
LIGHTNING UK!
ok well chances are that it can't play them - or they'd be visible in the list. As such, you need to convert them to DVD Video format before burning them. You can use something like DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD for that.
