Milo9 Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Hi I am getting a potential DirectShow error while trying to create CUE files. I thought at first it must be the MP3 but then I tried an MP3 that I had done before with imgburn and still...the same error. I have tried reinstalling DX11 I have tried installing windows7 codec package Still no luck. Here is a graphedit of an MP3 file that throws up the error: MP3 MPEG-I Stream Splitter Viscomsoft MPEG2 Audio decoder Default DirectSound Device When I click play on the graphedit the arrow turns blue between the mp3 and MPEG-I Stream Splitter then the program doesnt respond (if that helps). Use something like this - http://www.softella.com/dsfm/index.en.htm - and set the 'merit' to a really low value. Codec packs are evil, you should just manually install the specific ones you NEED. Genius! Thanks for the quick reply. After looking at the program you said I found the culprit software - something called AoA video joiner. A quick un-install and good as new. Thanks for the help.
