Thomasbeer Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 hello at first sorry for my englisch i am from the netherlands: i tried al lot: different speeds, media, drives, updates, cleaning lenses. but stil i am getting this write error.. i realy need a solution. but what the weird part is is that i never had problems burning with this media/drive combination. but all of a sudden it did not work annymore.. ( and it dindt work with my others drives as well they all worked fine but since a week ago they stopped burning good ) as far as i know i dindt install updates or what so ever that might cause a problem. sometimes 1 goes well. but then the next 10 fail its very unreliable. but i say again i NEVER had problems eversinds a week ago it gone wrong. beneath here you will see my error log: I 20:11:30 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! Thomasbeer Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 i already tried it but dit not work.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 You tried what? Updating the firmware? Cleaning the drive? Using the other available write speeds? Using Verbatim discs? If you'd done all that, you probably wouldn't be here.
ianymaty Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 This is the latest firmware for your drive http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22LP20/files.html You currently have 1.03 installed. Did you installed 2.0? If not working either, follow the other steps, cleaning the drive lens/use other speeds/Verbatim discs. Post the new log. If Verbatim disc don't go, most probably your drive is toast.
Thomasbeer Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 i am going to try this drive in other pc maybe thats the problem.
