I'm having trouble with my dvd. it won't play on my tv dvd player, only my computer. I think I did everything right during the Build mode, I have a downloaded torrent thats in my downloads and I dragged and dropped the already existing VIDEO_TS and an AUDIO_TS folder that I created (I read it somewhere to do that) into the Build Mode, then under output I checked Image File. Once it once created I changed to Write mode, selected the file and then I burnt it. It says it was successful, but I can only view it on my computer. Help please??

here the log file:

I burnt other videos onto the same discs successfully and they played on my dvd player. Is there anything I can do? And thanks for the quick response.

You misunderstood... it's what you've burnt to the disc that's the problem.

The video is in PAL format (not the disc itself).

You could convert the PAL video to NTSC format. That's not a topic for here though, you'll have to Google it.

oh! okay, got it. Thanks for your help, i've been messing around with it for a while.

If you intend to write movies to DVD, you really should check out DVDFab. It is not free but they have a generous full-featured trial period that allows you to copy DVD's etc. I used it and was impressed enough to buy it.
