Tech Posted February 6, 2011 Share Posted February 6, 2011 My problem is this, the CD drive on my lappy is u/s and i have tried to copy the content of the DVD Rom i have onto an external hard drive, but when i try to install it it just ask's for the CD and won't recognise it from the folder. I have tryed useing ImgBurn to make an image, but it has saved it as a rar file. Can some one let me know where i am going wrong please. LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 6, 2011 Share Posted February 6, 2011 It's not saving it as a RAR file, you've just got WinRAR associated with ISO files. You can disable that in WinRAR's settings. You want Virtual CloneDrive, not AnyDVD. Mount the ISO ImgBurn made in Virtual CloneDrive and you'll be good to go. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
