See if you can find a firmware update for the drive. Using one of the other 'supported' write speeds might help the situation. Cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc may help if it's failing at all speeds. You should try another spindle of discs to rule those out. (Still Verbatim ones though) Updating the firmware or cleaning its lens may be an option. It may also be that I just hit one of the two bad verbatim disks that I usually get per 30 pack spindle. Just in case your right though, I'll tear into another spindle and see what happens. If all that fails I guess I could clean up my hard drive, registry, ect a bit to see if that doesn't clear up the problem. Thank you for this awesome program, and all of your advise.
