LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Use a new disc, that one looks like you've already tried (and failed) to burn it.
Justhelp me Posted February 13, 2011 Author Posted February 13, 2011 this error is for every disk i tried ,and every disk is new
Justhelp me Posted February 13, 2011 Author Posted February 13, 2011 I used like 5 new dvds....and no one works
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 That's fine but you shouldn't be getting that exact error (as shown in your log) with a brand new disc.
Justhelp me Posted February 13, 2011 Author Posted February 13, 2011 So does anyone know what should i do to burn my ps2 games?any opinion?
ianymaty Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Try again after installing the latest firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22NS50/files.html
Cynthia Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 You have some other discs to try with that doesn't have the same media code (the red text)? I 17:14:22 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: SONY16D1) (Speeds: 4x, 8x, 16x, 18x) Another try could be to use the 8x write speed.
Justhelp me Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 i buyed new dvds but still nothing...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Put a *brand new* one in the drive, switch to Write mode in ImgBurn and copy + paste the disc info from the box on the right.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 How did you manage to install an OLDER firmware?! You want TN03. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22NS50/files.html Seriously, are you 110% sure that's a new disc? It still doesn't look in the least bit 'new'. Take another disc from the middle of your new spindle of discs and do it again - remember, you aren't attempting to burn anything, just copy+paste that disc info again. (after you're on TN03 firmware)
Justhelp me Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 still don't works and yes the dvd is new i just buyed this morning
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Can you buy some different discs then? Your drive isn't initialising the 'SONY16D1' ones properly. I was hoping see to the disc information of another new disc once you'd updated to the TN03 firmware and BEFORE you'd attempted to write/burn anything onto it. Can you do that for me please?
Justhelp me Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 doesn't metter if is sony because 2 days ago it works perfectly

LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Ok, that one looks fine. It has been initialised properly and shows the correct info for a truly empty DVD-R disc. If/when you burn that disc, post the log. Do not attempt to use it twice as it prevents us from helping you.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 ...and now we see the real error - your drive is reporting a 'Write Error' when trying to burn the media. Have you tried burning at 8x, 16x and 18x too as suggested earlier? Have you tried cleaning your drive with a cleaning disc? You really do need to buy some different media (with a different MID/dye) if you want to rule that out as the cause of the problem.
