ianymaty Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I 02:06:49 Destination Device: [0:1:0] MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ880AS 1.00 (E:) (ATAPI) I 02:06:49 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00) (Speeds: 2.4x; 4x; 6x) I 02:06:49 Write Speed: 2.4x Your disc is 8x rated media but your drive don't even show it can burn it at that speed. Try 4x and 6x to see if it will produce a working disc. You could try cleaning the laser lens. Try to find 2.4x rated media MKM-001-00 Unfortunately MATSHITA drives are the worst among the burners and notorious for not providing firmware updates.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Get yourself a decent normal size burner and put it in an enclosure (or buy an 'external' version) and use that instead.
