ulpe Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Tried to burn cue files use imgburn on my new laptop (Windows 7) and the system constantly comes up with an error message (see attachment). I also tried a cue file that previously could be burned properly on my old laptop (Win XP). So it is definitely not a corrupt file. I don't understand the somewhat diffuse error message since flac and ape file play properly using vlc player. Any ideas?
hollywood Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 google DC-BASS and that freeware program will install the filters in XP. then retry to burn and you shouldn't have that error again.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 VLC doesn't use DirectShow for playback of such files. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555&view=findpost&p=91374
ulpe Posted March 11, 2011 Author Posted March 11, 2011 Thank you for your replies. I'd say it was semi-successful: Now the system comes up with another entertaining message (see attachment). The drive is actually alive and kicking and burns everything, except cue files of course...
mmalves Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Look for the latest chipset/storage drivers for your system. This website might help.
