Hi!

 

I'm trying to burn a dual layer dvd r- on a Samsung drive at 2.4x and each time I try it has the following error. The disc burns fine but I'm very puzzled as to why it no longer hits the requested speed. It used to work with out fault prior to the last time I updated Img Burn.

Any advice on how to force the proffered speed would be much appreciated!

You can't force a drive to burn at a speed it simply doesn't support.

As you can see, 2.4x isn't an option.

 

The program showing a new warning to that effect does not mean it's a bug.

Hmm, so has my drive always been doing this and just not warning me about it ?

With that media, yes.

 

It might well support other MIDs (e.g. MKM-001-00) at 2.4x but MKM-003-00 is only supported at 4x upwards.
