Hello. I use ImgBurn for about 5 years and now for the first time I have big problem with it. I have SATA-drive in my new system: ASUS 24B3LT. It works pretty well, but not in ImgBurn. When I try to create image of CD-R ImgBurn waits for something for about 15 minutes and then the drive disappears from OS. Here is the ImgBurn log:

Update your chipset/storage controller drivers (this website might help).

But why Daemon Tools CAN create ISO using that drive? Maybe there is some incompatibility between Daemon Tools and ImgBurn... Anyway, my OS automatically updates all drivers via Windows Update and www.ma-config.com finds only my current drivers.

When it's 'waiting', what does it say in the statusbar at the bottom of the main window?

Nothing. The 'waiting' is between 15:18 and 15:31 in the log:

It seriously says nothing at all in the statusbar?! As in it's totally blank without a single bit of text in it?

Believe me, that doesn't happen very often!

Do it again and have another look for me please.

Sorry, I was wrong. The status bar says 'Reading Media Catalog Number...'.
