No_Joke Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Im trying to burn an iso to a dvd, but imgburn says: "No writers detected" iv used imgburn before and didnt have this problem. I tried deleting the dvd driver, and restarting, but it didnt help. here is the log: I 12:49:39 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Do you have more than 1 drive in your machine? If not, the drive you do have in there is a basic DVD-ROM drive. It can read discs but it can't write to them.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Yes, look in device manager and see if they're both listed. If they aren't, check / replace the cables going to the missing drive - i.e. look inside the case.
